Mm, the rotating locations? Wonder if this place is a ... rest stop, so to speak? Or the other way around, and inconsistent location that can connect to others.
This place is weird. If it was either of those things, don't ya think we could mess up the places we connect to? But nothing sticks and ya can't take anything out either.
Those are normally associated with memories, no? That we can’t bring the actual items back with us, or access the locations on Thursday nights suggests the locations might not actually be there.
Maybe while we’re in there it feels real, and we experience it like it is. But once we return to the hotel, all we have are photographs.
If you have enough for one room, where it's changin' based off what people want, you'll have enough to set up an entire location that's static for a week.

You could do that with strong enough magic. It feels real without necessarily being there. The sim room is the same way, minus the pictures.
