What, like this place is... Stealing their colors, too?

[ hmm. she squints at bradley trying to see if she can tell colors are fading. but again, has no eye for this. she can kind of see it, but it's slow enough that she can't tell if it's just her imagination. ]

If it's missin' it's color, maybe it's tryin' to take from us.

[Bradley takes a moment to stare intently at his jacket sleeve, which does seem to be draining color, bit by bit.]

[ okay you know what - after a couple more seconds it's so noticeable that even she can spot the difference. hmmm... bad! ]

Shouldn't this place be getting more colorful, then?

Two people might not be enough for it. If you're starved then you're gonna take everything ya can until you're full.

[But it also means it might eat too fast and throw them back out.]

[ this is concerning because she does feel weirdly drained, which makes it hard to fight back. not that she knows how to fight back to begin with. ]

... So we should get out of here.

[As far as he can tell going into these doors don't induce death, but they can be deeply unpleasant.]

[ eugh. she doesn't feel great and doesn't want to bother saying it but her expression definitely shows it. ]

[He wobbles a little before sitting down.]

[He reaches out for her hand.]

[ she touches his hand? but hey if he's sitting, she's gonna sit too. ]

[He's breathing in slowly, like he's not even entirely sure he's doing it.]

Weird. Weird door.

Yeah. Don't like this one.

[ she's trying to regulate her breathing which also means doing it very slow and pointedly. ]

Wonder if this is what turning feels like.

[Into stone? Probably not stone, but it's the first thing he thinks of.]

Got a wish out of the last game I was in. I tried to fix things, but...

[ being this exhausted is miserable. except even the misery is kind of numbed so it's easier to talk about it. ]
