[ flops down beside him (I'm assuming he's sitting with the whiskey) and holds a hand out for it. With the other hand he's cradling his forehead like he's got a headache. ]

[battling]

[He is.

You know usually he'd complain and make Bucky get his own, but oh my god, he is so tired watching that excuse for an execution.

So he gets the bottle.]

Ever watch one go that bad?

[frostythehitman]

[ he takes a swig from the bottle. then pulls out his flask and pours some in there too. ]

...Yeah. But not in that way.

[battling]

[ He will be taking the bottle back. ]

What happened at yours?

[frostythehitman]

Shook down a kid for evidence in the trial when he wasn't cooperating. He got voted for, but he was innocent. At execution, turns out we didn't shake him down enough--he had a bunch of scalpels hidden away that he fought back with. And someone made it so he couldn't feel pain, so he...just kept on fighting even as he got more and more hurt.

It was ugly.

[battling]

So he went numb.

[ That's not better. Especially not if it comes to a kid. In his mind's eye he can't imagine Mitile getting into that much trouble, but with the way things are here, it's not like he could stop an execution. ]

Sounds awful.

[ The view must've been worse. ]

Yeah.

This one was...still awful, but in a different way.

[battling]

Made me wish they had actual weapons to work with. The rest of 'em usually had something to work with.

[frostythehitman]

Maybe.

But those often get rigged too.

I watched a car punt a kid into the grave the week we scapegoated. She wasn't even who people voted for.

[ yaywon 100% speedran a murdergame ]

Jesus. I didn't even know that could happen, people dying in execution who weren't voted for.

[battling]

It only ever happened the once, but... Y'know. Could have a repeat.

[frostythehitman]

[ nods ]

When it was me, I was given a gun without any ammo in it. And when I fired the executioner's gun, all the bullets redirected into me.

We'll have to see which direction the executions like to be rigged, around here.

[battling]

Ugh. What a pain. Don't even know which rules we're working with.

Never ended up in the execution, so I couldn't tell ya how it worked. Somebody said it was tryin' to be a video game? Super... Smash something.

Don't look at me, I don't know video games. Ours were never like that. They were themed after whatever location we had that week.

You guys had different locations? We were at the school the whole time.

[frostythehitman]

We had a town, but there was a portal at the north end of town that would lead to different locations. Space stations, beaches...

The week I was executed, it was a desert town, so the execution was set up like a Wild West shootout.

[battling]

It was always at the sports field.

Wild West? [What is that.]

[frostythehitman]

[ ugh, right. totally different worlds. ]

...you said you led a gang of wizard bandits, right? Think--lawless town in the desert full of rival wizard bandits. And old-timey.

[battling]

[So basically the North but in the South.

Why was it west? All that's over there is Capitalism. There's still some confusion.]

Got it. [At least he understood "shoot out".]

[frostythehitman]

[ nods. he has no idea what Bradley is actually envisioning here but Bucky figures it's close enough. ]

Good. Well, that's how it was when I died, anyway. Other weeks had our executions on space stations, or a pirate ship.

Could you watch from wherever your grave was?

[frostythehitman]

Yeah. But only through these moving crayon drawings.
