We had a mutual understanding of distrust, I guess... He had a lady and a friend back home, but he was meant to play in more hunts later as punishment. So I made a deal with The Judge to take his place.

Abstaining randomized your vote for someone. You could vote for yourself without penalty, so some did that. Most people voted for someone. Royce always voted for who he thought was guilty.

We did. We got rid of The Judge supposed, and Ivan was freed. She said not to worry about the hunts or my deal. We were dead, and we got to go back alive. But... [Gestures.] You know. I'm in another one. I guess they knew I'd come if it was someone I wanted out of these things.

It was only a week, yeah. You say that, Aikawa, but it was only this place scrunched down into a shorter time. We didn't have half the stuff here. And some days, we had five bodies. We just had to point fingers for the most part.

We argued over the dinner table about who was guilty then kept voting for innocent people.

Almost all of us were dead by the end, but I guess that doesn’t matter when you are already dead and are supposed to die. [A glance at Aikawa.] I’m expecting more too.

In the early weeks it was just one body. After the second week it was two 'til the end.

So, yeah, basically, it was at least two bodies practically the whole way down.

So, kinda weird to only get one person dying three weeks in a row, and then you know, the whole thing with Cloud coming back from the dead.

It's weird, but--you both read the contract, right? Our game warden doesn't want mindless bloodshed left and right, so... one makes a bit of sense. If we dropped like flies, there'd be no more entertainment left.

Maybe Nightman is doing something about it with the shadows because the rest of us are too apprehensive about pulling the trigger on our own, hostages or not.
